Since 1996 we have been carrying out electrical, security system and energy saving services in homes and businesses throughout Scotland. We are an approved member of SELECT, NSI GOLD and local authority Buy With Confidence approved.
We are registered with OZEV (OLEV) and Energy Savings Trust as an approved Electrical Charger Installer and we are a certified Pod Point domestic installer.
Importantly and for your peace of mind we carry out the installation of your chargepoint. We do not use sub-contractors. The whole process is undertaken by the team here at Stirling Electrical Services.

Approved Installer: Energy Saving Trust Scotland (EST) & Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) for both the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) and Workplace Charge Scheme (WCS)
Our experienced office team and qualified electricians will always be available to help and answer any questions you may have during our EV chargepoint installation process. You will receive more detailed information from us on the process and grant schemes during our service but in the meantime the below summary gives an overview of the EV service provided by Stirling Electrical Services Ltd.
HOME Installation: A Quick Guide To How We Will Install the EV Charger At Your Home
- Check to see if you are eligible for any grant support - see EST Scotland Grant (Domestic) & Businesses
- To start the process apply using our no obligation online quotation enquiry form
- We will review your information to see if we can support your enquiry
- If we can support your enquiry we will see if we can provide a quotation from the information you submitted in our online form
- We will be in contact with you to discuss your quotation and if required to arrange your free site survey
- You will receive our quotation along with more detailed information on the EV charge point process
- Contact us if you would like to discuss our quotation or you have any queries on the process
- If Energy Savings Trust grant eligible, use our quotation to submit your grant application to EST
- Notify us that you have accepted our quotation
- If Energy Savings Trust grant eligible, and if grant has been approved by EST, notify us with your EST grant reference number
- An install date for your charge point installation can now be booked in
- If you have not received your vehicle yet we will keep in contact with you to make sure there are no delays to the delivery date
- We install your charger carry out commissioning, testing and user training
- Importantly your charger installation is carried out by our own team of qualified electricians, we do not use sub-contractors
- You receive our invoice for the charger install - you pay us in FULL. If Energy Savings Trust grant eligible, customers claim grant back
- Once you have paid your invoice in FULL, you then receive from us your final paperwork including Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC)
- If Energy Savings Trust grant eligible, you send in our EIC and paid invoice receipt to EST who will then review the completed paperwork
- If Energy Savings Trust grant eligible, once completed paperwork has been accepted by EST, you receive/keep the relevant grant funding
- Our installation comes with one year parts and labour warranty via us and relevant charge point manufacturer warranty
- Our professional office team are always on hand should you have any requirement for future electrical and security system services
