- Energy Savings Trust will be closing the grant to new applications at 5.30pm on 3 January 2024. Grants are offered on a first come first served basis and on the condition that all work and final claim documents will be completed and returned by 15 March 2024. Failure to meet this deadline will result in grant offer being removed. Please note submitting an application does not guarantee funding.
- If customers submit enquiry forms from 22nd December 2023 onwards we can no longer guarantee customers will receive quotations before 3 January 2024 so we cannot be held responsible for customers missing out on the grant deadline imposed by EST.
- Details of grant funding for 2024 has not been released yet.

You can apply for funding (up to £400) for one grant type below if you’re either a:
- rural and remote electric vehicle owner – you live in a small town, rural and remote area or Island of Scotland and own or lease an electric vehicle (including through work) https://energysavingtrust.org.uk/grants-and-loans/domestic-charge-point-funding/, or
- used electric vehicle owner – you live in Scotland and bought your electric vehicle through the EST used electric vehicle loan
The Procedure
- Before you submit your Domestic Quotation enquiry to us, check to see if you are eligible for any Grant support via EST
- Visit https://energysavingtrust.org.uk/grants-and-loans/domestic-charge-point-funding/ and check to see if you are eligible for Grant support via your property being in a rural and remote area or if you are a have purchased a second hand EV vehicle via an EST vehicle loan.
- Complete our Domestic Quotation enquiry form and notify us on the application if you believe you are eligible for Grant support
- We provide a quotation either via the details on your online enquiry form and/or after a site survey at your property
- You apply for an EST Grant via their website and wait to see if your grant application has been successful
- Notify us that your grant applications has been successful and provide the grant reference number to us
- We install your charger and send you an invoice
- Once you have paid the invoice in FULL we will provide a receipt and the Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC)
- You submit our paid invoice and EIC to EST and when accepted they will pay top you directly your grant amount
EST Grant application and claiming grant money is fully the responsibility of customers, not us.
